Disability Voluntary Groups for Disabled People

It is becoming a familiar story Disability Voluntary Groups for Disabled People around the Country are disappearing and becoming a thing of the past, as more of them are losing their funding and closing down.

We at (Phoenix Access for all Disabilities) have just learnt that Wandsworth Access Association of Disabled People have lost their grant funded by Wandsworth Council.

When speaking to a member of WAA we learnt that last year 2016 WAA’s funding was reduced, therefore they had to reduce the amount of meetings they held for their members.
