What We Do:

The Park Community group tracks and reports on local developments and proposals of relevance to residents in this locality.

• Publish newsletters with items of interest or concern.
• Advise residents of planning applications that may affect them, often before yellow notices go up on lampposts. We also assist them to understand how the planning system works.
• Take up issues with Ealing Council and the University of West London when their plans will affect residents, using local knowledge to get a better result. Examples have included street lighting, road resurfacing, changes to the footpath at the western end of The Park, and changes to UWL premises.
• Occasionally host events where we have invited speakers to talk about topics of local interest, plus political hustings for local elections.
