Oxted Art Group meets to create art together and learn about it.

All abilities are present and welcome from beginners to experienced and professional.

You can use any media which you bring yourself, but some specialist stuff is provided when needed.

We have a programme for those who want a structure or you can do any of your own work if you prefer, so several things may be going on in the hall at the same time.

The programme is varied and is based on what members ask for. We have had clothed life models, portrait sessions, landscape, perspective, clay work (with a member who also fires it for us), lino cutting and printing, general drawing and painting and looking at old master pictures.

We occasionaly have a visiting tutor. Over the summer we dont meet in the hall but outside on an afternoon at various venues to work from the landscape around us. We also have short breaks in the meetings at Christmas and Easter.
