One of our first projects was to install an electric car charging station to accommodate the future needs of those taking up the future of Electric Vehicles

We had 85 Solar Panels installed to help with our running costs and satisfy our green credentials

We installed LED lighting throughout the centre to help with our running costs and satisfy our green credentials
All of the above projects help with the NICE trustees green principles in trying to cut the carbon footprint of the centre.
2021
Extension Build
Three years in the planning and on Monday 19th July 2021 at 10.00 am the first turf was cut by Depute Leader of East Ayrshire Council, Councillor Jim McMahon.
The work is being carried out by Donald Reid Builders, Catrine and will take around 5 months to complete.
The extension will double the size of the main hall and provide two wellness rooms for the use of the NHS and other organisations that wish to use them.
This has been a long time coming and the board of trustees are so grateful to the various charities that have provided funding enabling us to do this and from the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank, in no particular order:

The build will take around 5 months, so keep everything crossed for Christmas. It will be the best Christmas present for us and the community in a while.
During the course of the planning and pulling together the requirements of the build from the initial planning application, the Architects Drawings and the Building Warrant being granted, many people have helped us along the way and we thank them all for their help and continued support.
