The Group meets on Thursday mornings at 1030 at the Moseley Exchange, 149-153 Alcester Road, Moseley, Birmingham B13 8JP (Tel 0121 449 8585). Its purpose is to read and discuss philosophy. No qualifications in the subject are needed or expected, but an interest in the great philosophers and their ideas is a definite pre-requisite. Discussions are lively, good natured and often humorous.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, 31 May 2018 when we shall discuss an article entitled
Philosophy v Science: Which can Answer the Big Questions of Life? by Julian Baggini and Lawrence Kraus which Steve has sent round.
