Manchester National Trust Volunteers
Thank you for taking the time to read this post. It has not been an easy one to write.
You will have heard in the news that all National Trust properties, shops, restaurants, Gardens and parklands have closed to the public because of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Please see the National Trust press releases for more information https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/press-release/the-national-trusts-latest-statement-on-coronavirus-covid-19.
In tandem with this, all the properties at which we were volunteering until the end of May (Speke, Styal, Formby, Lyme Park, Dunham Massey and Biddulph Grange Garden) have suspended group volunteering until further notice. We are therefore sorry to inform you that we are cancelling all our workdays for the forseeable future.
We hope to be back volunteering soon. Keep your eyes on our social media streams (https://www.facebook.com/ManchesterNTV/) and this website for more information.
In the meantime you can keep up to date with what we are planning for the rest of the year via this website and if you want to findout what we have been up to over the past year or more then read the blog (www.mntv.blogspot.com).
Naturally we hope to be back volunteering before too long. We appreciate how much you love coming out on Sundays to help the Trust and we very much look forward to seeing you again soon when this situation has passed.
Look after yourselves and stay safe
