MNTV Workday - Stubbins Estate

Sunday 31 July 2022
10:00 to 15:30

Earlier this month we were at Gawthorpe Hall near Burnely today we are less than a 30 minute drive from Gawthorpe Hall, working with Nik on the Stubbins Estate which includes Holcombe Moor. Throughout the Stubbins Estate there are glorious views of the surrounding countryside, towns and moorland. There are acres of wooded hillside, farmland and Pennine moorland ready for you to explore, on a clear day you get views reaching as far as Wales. The area can be easily accessed by public footpaths close to Ramsbottom. Whilst working in the area look out for the distinctive Peel Tower on Holcombe Hill. It was built in 1852 and commemorates Sir Robert Peel, Prime Minister of Britain (1841 -1846) and founder of the modern police force.

We currently have no worksite leader for this day if you are a member and would like to step forward then please let one of the commitee know.

Meet in Styal Car park for lift shares @ 8.40am or meet at Stubbins @ 10.00am
