Manchester National Trust Volunteers

After the fun of the festive season we are in Cheshire today at Alderley Edge. The task will be birch thinning a task we have done on our last two visits, most recently on 7th November.  This time we will be working in the woodland on the other side of the lane to where we worked then.  The job will be to find the birch then pull, dig, pop or winch them out and burn them.
