Today we head to Speke Hall located southwest of Liverpool right by the runway of Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The Hall itself is a wood-framed wattle-and-daub Tudor manor house and is one of the finest surviving examples of its kind. We have done many different tasks here and Ranger Ian always appreciates our help. As this is our only visit to Speke in 2019 let this be the workday you don’t miss, as mentioned in a previous blog post due to the Mersey Gateway Bridge now open it’s only a 35 minute drive from Styal!
