Manchester National Trust Volunteers

We normally head to Snowdonia in the Spring this year however we've mixed things up a bit so join us for Summer in Snowdonia. Daniel ofcourse is leading this weekend.

After many visits to Snowdonia to help the National Trust marshall the Snowdonia Marathon they pulled out of running it likewise so did we, however we love Snowdonia so much that we returned in the Spring of 2015 and haven’t looked back since. Rhydian and the other rangers are so welcoming and always appreciate our help tasks have included Rhodi and Gorse bashing, willow and birch clearance. The task for this year? Rhydian says “I’m not too sure what we’ll have on the go at that time, but I’m sure there will be plenty of work!!” Whatever the task is its bound to be hard work , fun and hopefully we will have blue skies and just maybe some stunning views of the Snowdonia National Park

The weekend is open to any volunteers who have previously attended a workday with us. The cost will be £15 to cover basecamp accommodation and food

Accomodation: Hendre Isaf Base Camp - the basecamp is just off the A5 about 6 miles South East of the town of Betws-y-Coed.
