Manchester National Trust Volunteers

After last years Christmas weekend to Wharfedale this year we are back at High Wray in the Lake District. Ranger Matt is already looking forward to working with us. We're not sure yet what the task will be but its bound to be hard work and hopefully fun. Tasks we have previously taken part in such tasks as Hedgelaying, Spruce clearence and Rhodi bashing.

Saturday night we have Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings also presents and silly games.

The weekend is open to any volunteers who have previously attended a workday with us. The cost will be £15 to cover basecamp accommodation and food

Accomodation: High Wray Base Camp - the basecamp is tucked away in woodland on the west side of Windermere, about a mile from the NT property of Wray Castle and with great views of the mountains to the north.
