Behind St John's Church on the High Road (the paved area between the church and Matalan), every Saturday 10 – 2.30.

Transition Leytonstone runs the stall in collaboration with OrganicLea, a workers' cooperative with their own growing site in Chingford.  A lot of the produce is grown there, with the rest being sourced from as close to London as possible.

All the produce is organically grown and packaging is kept to a minimum (and reused whenever possible).

Produce includes staples like potatoes and onions; a variety of other vegetables, salads and fruit depending on the season; locally baked sourdough bread; eggs and a selection of dried goods.

The stall relies upon volunteers.  If you're passionate about local, organic, packaging-free healthy food and would like to find out more about volunteering on the stall, please email RoseMary at stall@transitionleytonstone.org.uk.
