The HEET Project is a non profit company working to reduce fuel poverty and carbon emissions across Waltham Forest. Energy advice and energy efficiency measures for the home are available free for householders over 60 or on means tested benefits. They also carry out enabling works such as window or door repairs before draught proofing or insulation is installed.
HEET also delivers energy advice through their Energy Roadshows at venues such as shopping centres, health centres and places of worship. Through the Climate Gym they enable people to calculate their carbon emissions and work out how to reduce them.
