WREN is the main nature conservation group south of the A406, and does not only look after wrens!

WREN’s main activities are:

  • Practical work to clear and conserve habitat, including tree planting, mainly in Wanstead Park but also in other areas of the forest including Wanstead Flats. Volunteers are welcome.

  • Recording wildlife. They can help identify rare and unusual species.

  • Wildlife walks and talks, including with other groups such as Residents’ Associations.
