In 2022 the Morgan Motor Company built only 62 limited edition Anniversary models of the classic Morgan Sports Car to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the 1962 Le Mans class win by the Morgan Race Car registered as TOK 258.
The 62 cars were built on the newly launched CX Plus Four Chassis and fitted with a BMW 2.0-litre four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine.
Features of the cars:
- The cars were available in either 'Jet Green' or 'Tetre Rouge' Red (the original Le Mans class winning car was originally red and sprayed green for the race in 1962).
- Available as a Manual or Auto gearbox.
- Ivory coloured removable carbon fibre hard top to mimic the design and colour scheme of the original winning car - TOK 258
- Spotlights
- Black leather upholstery with perforated panels and trim reflect the 'period' feel of this already 'traditional' vehicle
- Leather steering wheel
- Silver painted wire wheels with 'knock-off' spinners (where regulations allowed)
- Numbered 'Le Mans 62' Dashboard Badge
- Identifying 'Le Mans 62' badge on the rear panel
- 'Le Mans' Filler cap
