Lampton Park Community Garden

In May 2024, the Parks Team at Hounslow Council created a community garden and Friends of Lampton Park have supported on the delivery of the Lampton Park Community Garden as both gardeners and volunteers. A project which was funded by Section 106 and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund as part of Grow for the Future. This space has also been joined and worked on by: Urban Trailblazers, Cultivate London, Lampton School and Duke of Edinburgh students.

Since then we have been working to promote knowledge sharing, upskilling and growing opportunity. Our ambitions are to grow together and grow sustainably.

We have successfully provided 13.47kg of food equivalent to 168 meals saving £144.22. (You can find out more here Community Garden Harvest - Friends of Lampton Park)  We have also made our own leaf mould, compost and worm compost.
