Radical new proposals by the government to change the planning regime have proved extremely controversial, including within the Conservative Party itself at local level. Great Holland Residents Association has always retained membership of NORA, the National Organisation of Residents Associations and this is its draft response to the new proposals. 2009 Great Holland Christmas Card
For the second year running, David Masters of the GHRA has produced the artwork for the Village Christmas Card, which is on sale at The Village Stores, Fruit Farm (Pork Lane), Parkers Garden Centre or from Sylvia Nicholl on 01255 851555. ALL Proceeds will go to the village community, hall and churches.
The Association wishes to continue this project in 2010 and the decision has been taken to run a competition to find next years Card design.
The Theme will be "Great Holland at Christmas Time". There will be two Categories, Young + Adult and the winners will receive a modest prize, together with the Honour of having their card published ! The competition will close on 31st March 2010and the wining entries announced at the AGM in May 2010.
