Galleywood Festival - Musical workshop 'Pop up' Choir Performance

Following the hugely enjoyable and successful rehearsals and performance of the ‘Gavelwode’ Cantata at last year’s festival, local musician Stephen Rumsey is directing a series of events this year that will provide singers with the opportunity to explore some popular choral classics. These include
Ave Verum Corpus Mozart
Sumer is a-cumin in Anon
Soldiers’ Chorus Gounod
Gloria Vivaldi
Two workshops on the 23rd and 24th May will prepare the 'Pop up' choir for a final rehearsal and and sing through to family, friends and neighbours at a performance in St Michael's church.
