Jack Jennings welcomed members to the June meeting and thanked Sutton United Football Club for their hospitality and use of their facilities.
Minutes of the Meeting held on 20th April 2011:
Jean Duncan proposed and Beverley Chew seconded acceptance of the Minutes of that meeting.
The Secretary reported that all invoices received thus far had been completed and that a further £750 was awaited from the Community Chest Fund. The current bank balance stood at £1,739.11. Further Letters had been sent to Sutton Coldfield businesses with little response in support of the Group.
Site Facility for Older Children: Ongoing. Conversations with a group of local youths suggested that a five a side and basketball facilities would be welcome. There would seem to be an opportunity to liaise with Fairfax School in connection with the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Jack Jennings would investigate further.
Contractors Funding: Two litterbins are awaited. The CPM is obtaining these.
Additional Benches & Picnic Tables:
Goodwin builders have undertaken construction and installation of the benches and picnic tables with several comments made from members of the public upon the quality replicating the style of the bench seats previously installed.
Any Other Business

- The hedge boundary on the cricket field requires attention and is the subject of a possible project.
The meeting closed at 8.20pm.
