Survey for Leaseholders on the Leasehold/Commonhold Bill
The Parliamentary Committee will be reviewing the draft legislation to reform Leasehold and Commonhold. They have opened a survey specially for leaseholders to give their view. Please respond to the survey by 31 March. This is your opportunity to tell Parliament about your experiences of being a leaseholder.
Tell them about:
- problems with ground rent and service charges
- Problems with lease length
- difficulty in getting RTM or enfranchisement (purchasing your freehold)
- repairs and remediation of your building
- the poor service you get from your Managing Agent. (There is an opportunity for you to call for the regulation of Managing Agents.)
