MP for Poplar and Limehouse Apsana Begum has asked a question in the House of Commons about what the Government considers to be reasonable and proportionate costs for leaseholders to be asked to pay in relation to buiding safety and the work of the Building Safety Regulator.

Housing Minister Steve Reed commends the work of the Friends in High Places group and states that "unfair costs should not fall on leaseholders."

A follow up meeting with Building Safety Minister Samantha Dixon is being arranged.
