East Hanningfield Parish Council serves a small rural parish south east of Chelmsford in Essex. The Council has seven elected members and one employee, the Clerk. The Council is the Custodian Trustee of Hanna's Field, owns outright Hanna's Hoppet, and maintains the village green, The Tye. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month in the Village Hall.
