Community House is a vibrant resource centre for the community and voluntary sector in the London Borough of Bromley. Situated in the old Magistrates Court building close to Bromley town centre, we set high standards of accessibility and professionalism for the benefit of all our users and service providers alike.

We are also a home to 13 voluntary and community organisations, delivering a wide range of services and support to residents of the borough of Bromley. Many more community groups hire our facilities to hold meetings and events throughout the year.

The pages in this section tell you all you need to know about the people who make all this happen plus a bit about our history and governance.

Our building had its beginnings as Bromley's Old Magistrates Court. Architecturally, we are a part of a distinct group of red brick buildings, built during the last century.

Community House Bromley has been in receipt of several awards and recognitions from the local community, working alongside our tenants and friends of Community House.

Bromley Voluntary Sector Trust (BVST) is a charitable body specifically designed to be a resource centre for the voluntary organisations based within the Borough.

The appointed Trustee Board of BVST, ultimately governs Community House. Our Board includes volunteers from the local community and the five founding tenants.

"I just want to say thank you to your team for all the help you have given us when booking rooms at Community House. It is a key venue for us" - Many thanks.
