Chipping is a village situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Ribble Valley
Our Society brings together people who are interested in the history of the village and the surrounding area. The members have a wide range of interests and we have a varied and interesting programme of events.
Our archive is available for private study, at St Mary’s Community Hall, Longridge Road, Chipping on our Open Days on the first Sunday of certain months and at other times by prior appointment. The archive has Census Records, Graveyard Records, old documents, miscellaneous records and many old photographs of the local area and its people.
