If anyone wishes to go direct, the car park is at the Felden Lane end of a cul-de sac called Felden Drive. Grid Ref: TL 0403 0523. If there is space available on Sheethanger Common at Grid Ref: TL 0401 0518.
Autumn gentians should be in flower and a good number of other wild flowers should be found including harebells.
There are no facilities on route so people should bring anything they made need, as well as binoculars and suitable footwear, according to the weather - it may be muddy on short sections of the walk if we has rained during the week.
Car-sharing will be organised from The Moor.
