The Management Committee regret that due to the irresponsible actions of recent hirers, just before Christmas 2007, where several hundred of pounds worth of damage was sustained by shear vandalism. We have had to amend hiring conditions, in that all future bookings from private individuals, for parties and other 'one off' events will now require a refundable deposit of £150.00 to be held against possible damage or excessive cleaning costs.

The deposit will be refunded in full within seven days, provided that the Hall is left clean, tidy, with no damages and in the same state that it was found. There must be no disturbance to local residents. We are sorry that the sensible majority will have to put up with these restrictions due to the actions of the thoughtless minority.

The Committee would like to take this opportunity to apologise to Local residents, for the distress caused by the event, the running of which was out of the control of the Management Committee and we would like to thank the band of volunteers who toiled so hard in order to get the Hall back into a usable condition in the shortest possible time.
