Due to COVID-19, Burton upon Stather Village Hall is temporarily closed and all events suspended.

We hope to reopen once this has passed.

The Village Hall is situated in the centre of the Village of Burton upon Stather (five miles north of Scunthorpe) and just off the Village High Street. It was inaugurated in 1936 by Sir Berkeley Sheffield. The Main Hall was built as an extension to the Old Reading Room/Library which now forms the Wedgwood Room available as a meeting or conference room.

There is seating in the Main Hall to a capacity of 120-150 persons There is a newly installed oak floor, a well equipped stage with adequate theatre lighting and sound equipment and separate dressing rooms (including toilets). Off the Main Hall is a fully refurbished and well equipped kitchen and there is a small garden to the rear of the Hall, where a reception marquee could be erected. An electronic piano is available upon request.
