Handy Person Service

North Somerset Council has launched a new service for people aged 60 or over, or who have a disability: to carry out repairs, maintenance, improvements, adaptations and other ‘odd jobs’ and to help people live safely and independently in their own homes.  They also run an equipment and demonstration centre in Weston-super-Mare which has a wide range of assistive technology and adaptation equipment for you to ‘try before you buy.’ For details, visit www.n-somerset.gov.uk/handypersonservice or phone 01934 520 116.
