ANGLIAN WATER MAINS REPLACEMENT SCHEME – LINKS ROAD CLOSURE 28 APRIL – 4 JULY 2025

With effect from Monday 28 April, Anglian Water will be commencing work to replace 2km of water mains pipes running from Links Road to Cressing Tower (running from the water tower at Lanham Green Road/Whites Green in between Cressing and Bradwell, all the way down to Links Road).

This will eventually see the decommissioning of the Bradwell Water Tower and residents will be served via the pump from the reservoir.  Not only does this save money, but residents will see an improvement in water pressure.  Anglian Water have given their assurance that the new pumps are very reliable and can provide back up in the event of pump failure.

The work will require closing Links Road for a total of nine weeks and will be undertaken in three stages as shown below.  All residents affected by the closures have been contacted in person will be able to continue to have access their properties via a fob/access code system.  The Anglian Water Project Manager will be on call and contactable 24/7 for the duration of the project.
