2019: Bourne Woods: The 5 year temporary permission for allowing fiming in the Bourne Woods expires in early March 2019. The Forestry Commission have appointed a planning consultant to work with them to re apply for planning permission. No application has yet been submitted.
The Bourne Residents' Association will continue to support the filming but wish the conditions laid down in the 2014 application to be retained.
2019 Update: The association is still active but in a much reduced capacity. Anyone who would be interested in being part of the Residents' Association please contact Val Nye, especially if they are willing to help with planning matters.
The Bourne Residents’ Association has been actice for many years, representing the interests of members on issues that affect The Bourne. Planning, the environment, traffic, schools and footpaths.
We also support the Bourne Beautification Project who are responsible for the planting of the tubs, planters, hanging baskets and the small flower bed at the foot of Burnt Hill Road. We work alongside the Bourne Conservation Group who maintain the wonderful walled flower bed at the Bourne crossroads.
