The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is open to all young people aged 14 - 25 years who live in North Lincolnshire. The programme offers the opprtunity for young people to participate in a range of activities. Takea look at the exciting changes which have recently taken place within the award

The Award can be undertaken at three levels Bronze, Silver and Gold, with a minimum age requirement for each level. Each level of the Award consists of four sections (five at Gold). These are physcial activity, skill, expedition/exploration, and Volunteering.

The Youth Service operates the Award from a number of units and venues. It also works in partnership with schools, colleges and voluntary groups to deliver support for the Award.

A new Open unit run by the Youth Service now offers an opportunity to allow young people to begin or continue the award. Based at Oswald House, 74 Oswald Road, Scunthorpe; the unit operates on a Tuesday evening from 7.00 till 9.00 pm.
