Through careful planning and making some cost savings throughout the project we had some spare funds from the Lottery Grant to divert into some finishing touches.

We decided to create a community herb garden, surrouding the seating area to create a relaxing community area and packed with a wide variety of herb plants that can be used by all plot holders.  The herbs were from the Kitchen Gardeners range, available from a garden centre near you and will form the basis for some tasty recipes.
