Community- Led Estate Regeneration Handbook

Last updated:

14/06/07

Overall Star rating:

5.0 stars

Summary/Overview:

This A4 guide has two main sections, one looking at successful case studies from community-led regeneration projects and a second, covering professional advice on the practicalities of running such projects. The document thus provides both inspiration and advice to local residents whom are considering setting up and running regeneration projects.

A lot of the content is written by community members, who write in an accessible and engaging style, and who provide plenty of detail on individual projects through case studies.

The document is easy to use and has an attractive and functional layout. There are many detailed examples used to illustrate the positive outcomes of community engagement work, and how the projects themselves came about. There is also a useful list of contacts, websites and funding options.
