Navigation aids
All pages include a search box.
The first hyperlink (called 'skip navigation') on every page in this site enables a user to skip over all of the navigation hyperlinks and jump straight to the page content. This is often useful for users who visit the site using a screen reader or for visitors who can't use a mouse. By using the skip link users aren't forced to tab through numerous navigation links in order to get to the page content.
Links
We always attempt to ensure that hyperlinks are written to make sense out of context. They are designed so that they might be tabbed through in a logical and consistent way by a visitor using a keyboard.
Images
All content images used in this site include descriptive alternative text. Decorative graphics include blank alternative text.
Forms
All form fields are clearly labelled.
Visual design
This site uses cascading style sheets throughout for design and visual layout.
This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers.
If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
