Hertfordshire's Take Part Project Workers

Hertfordshire's Take Part programme is coordinated by project workers in both areas.  Cowley Hill (Borehamwood) has a team of project workers comprising of Heather Walsh, Miriam Feehily and Shanie Hutton.  Stevenage's project worker is Anne-R Durix.  The project workers are responsible for delivering the Empowerment Academies within each area.  Some of their key responsibilities include:

• Gathering interest and enrolling new participants onto the Take Part programme.
• Identifying opportunities for participants to develop personal skills, e.g. confidence, motivation, leadership...
• Being the first point of contact for Take Part participants, e.g. if you were interested in taking up a particular course then the project workers would be the first people you would speak to.
• Organising Take Part events.
