RAVENSTHORPE TRAVEL CLUB
IN ASSOCIATION WITH DACT
The parish council has paid an annual affiliation fee to DACT enabling any non-profit making groups within the village the opportunity of hiring the DACT Mini Bus with a volunteer driver. The cost of this would be dependent on how long a group would wish to use it and the mileage incurred.
If any group in the village is interested in becoming a member to Ravensthorpe Travel Club thus enabling you the use of this facility please contact Liz Peachey on 01604 770894 for further details. If your group is not a listed member DACT will not hire out the mini bus to you.
On 7th January trees will be coppiced in the Pocket Park to let more light in and improve the environment for various species. Starting at 10am, volunteers are needed for much appreciated help to move the branches.
Gloves are advised and bring branch loppers if you have them.
If you would like any wood for bean sticks, burning or any other purpose you can have them.
