Note to retailers

Retailers, our flier published in May 2008 is here. Funding from UnLtd enabled this first print run, and we would welcome your help in the following ways:

If you would like FREE fliers to keep by your till to encourage your customers to bring their own bags and reduce your costs, at the same time as helping the environment, please contact us.

If you would like FREE  till magnets conveying a brief message ("Do you really need a carrier bag?") please contact us. About the size of a business card, these can be fixed temporarily to tills, facing customers to remind them not to automatically take a bag, or facing assistants to remind them to ask the customer rather than just handing out a bag. And last but not least, if you would like to sponsor the next printing of fliers and till magnets, in return for having your name on the flier (perhaps as a shop that sells or gives away long-life bags or a business that is already plastic-bag-free), please contact us. Or if you have ideas for other products, such as posters, that would help you to help the environment by cutting back on carrier bags, please contact us.
