Good Neighbour Policy

In order to maintain good relations with our neighbours and fellow plot holders, we would ask all to bear these things in mind...

Bonfires are not allowed on the site without specific agreement of the Committee

Be thoughtful when using machinery. Not before 8am Monday - Saturday or before 10am on a Sunday. And not after 7pm in the evening.

No smoking allowed on the site.

Livestock are not allowed to be kept on the plots.

It can be fun for children to learn where food comes from. Show them where your plot's boundaries are and explain that other people's are off-limits unless invited!

Be mindful of health and safety issues. All plot holders have a duty of care to anyone on their plot, regardless of whether they have given permission for them to be there.

The communal area of the site is for all to enjoy. Help to maintain it and give consideration to fellow plot holders when harvesting the communal produce.

Please take all litter home with you.

If you are the last one to leave the allotment site, please ensure the shed and gate are locked securely.

Any acts of vandalism should be reported to the Police and to the Allotment Society who will notify the Parish Council.

The Committee thanks everyone for their cooperation.
