Moseley Philosophy Group

The Group meets on Thursday mornings at 1030 at the Moseley Exchange, 149-153 Alcester Road, Moseley, Birmingham B13 8JP (Tel 0121 449 8585). Its purpose is to read and discuss philosophy. No qualifications in the subject are needed or expected, but an interest in the great philosophers and their ideas is a definite pre-requisite. Discussions are lively, good natured and often humorous.

The next two meetings are on Thursday, 24 and 31 May 2012, when we shall continue to read and discuss The Big Questions: Philosophy by Simon Blackburn, (published by Quercus and available from Amazon).

The discussion leaders will be: Jan, Is There Such a Thing as Society?

                                                 Steve, Can Machines Think?

                                                 Sylvia, Why Be Good?

There will be no meeting on Thursday, 7 June, which is half term.
