The MEFAS J registration ambulance was bought second hand in 2002 with monies provided by the general public and supportby Tesco, John Lewis and New Malden Round Table.  After serving 7 years the ambulance is now showing its age with rustly window frames and other rust areas.

As a charity there is a limited number of bodies to which grant applications for vehicle purchase purposes can be made and available grants would not be sufficient to purchase another vehicle. Hence, we need public support.

Cash donations would be gratefully received along with any unwanted printer cartridges.  Any cheque should be made payable to Malden Emergency First Aid Society and all donations sent to MEFAS, Rear of Malden Centre, Cocks Crescent, New  Malden, KT3 4TA.

Malden Emergency First Aid Society has been in existance and serving the Kingston Upon Thames and surrounding areas for over 40 years.  It is manned by volunteers and we are we need new members to enable the charity to continue for a further 40 years.

In particular, the organisation needs people who are willing to help manage the headquarter premises, maintain and repair the ambulance and, in particular, be prepared to go out on duties if only as a driver.  Fully qualified First Aiders and those willing to train would be welcomed.

Anyone intested in joining this voluntary group should get in touch with Isabel Mould or Christine John or drop in the HQ on a Thursday evening.
