MEFAS is registered charity and all its members are volunteers.  MEFAS needs new members otherwise the charity could fold within the next year and that will be a disappointment after 42 years of service to the local community.

We are a friendly group and membership is open to all.  We can cater for varying levels of fitness and abilities and would welcome a diverse membership.

Ideally, MEFAS would like to see more members of the public being capable of providing first aid to their loved ones and neighbours and this can include helping out at events when confident to do so.  

MEFAS would also be interested in First Aid Trainers from other organisations joining MEFAS as members to provide training in all aspects of first aid to members, the public and children, subject to satisfactory CRB checks. 

All MEFAS members are unpaid volunteers but expenses are covered for attending events and out of pocket expenditure. 

In addition to general memberships, can anyone develop and maintain this website.  Training is provided by E-voice trainers through the KVA and course costs will be met from charity funds.

Someone to look after the ambulance maintanence would be great.  It needs some TLC.  

Annual membership of MEFAS is £10 per annum but all first aid training courses including AED and medical gases are free.
