Hall for Hire
MEFAS training room is part of the Malden Centre and has a separate enterance at the rear. The hall can seat between 50 to 70 people and can be separated in 2 smaller rooms by drawing the partition doors. The venue has suitable wheelchair access and cloak room facilities.
There is a small kitchen off the hall and is available for use by hirers. The room is larger than those available for rent in the Malden Centre.
Additional Facilities: We can provide tables, White Boards, Flip charts, overhead projector, TV with video and DVD player for a small additional charge.
Hire costs: The room can be hired at £17 per hour with a minimum charge of 1.5 hours. Regular bookings are welcomed.
Access: The venue has good bus routes (131, 231) which stop in the High Street. By road the venue in a short distance from the A3, A2043, B283. Main line access is within 5 minute walk. There is amble outside parking and a multi story nearby.
Conditions of Hire. Hirers should have their own Third Party Liability Insurance for their activities. The hall is not let after 11pm. Alcohol can not be sold on the premises but can be brought onto the premises for parties. Hirers should leave the premises in a clean and tidy manner but if cleaning is required an additional payment can be made. A charge may also be made for advance of opening or after event leaving.
