Loatlands Primary School Governors - Complaints Procedure.
Complaints Procedure (A Summary)
Governors are always keen to gain parental views about the school however, they are not there to reconcile complaints. The school has standard procedures which should be followed BEFORE asking for the governors involvement.
To summarise:
1. Most issues can be taken up with the relevant class teacher who may need to consult other staff before reporting back to the parent.
2. If you feel that your concern has not been resolved by the class teacher, arrange to see the headteacher.
3. If a suitable solution or compromise can not be reached then the parents have recourse to refer the matter to the governing body.
A full copy of the school’s complaints procedure may be obtained from the school office. (A small charge may be made for photocopying.)
