The Nursery Team 

is a mix of highly qualified and experienced staff.

 

 Welcome to our new nursery staff team member Mrs Ingrid Newman.

The Team is led by Mrs Alison Ball.

 I am Head of Nursery and Foundation Stage leader. I am responsible for the Nursery and Reception staff and children. I teach all the Nursery children 4 days a week and am the key-worker for yellow group. I also teach in the Reception class.  I am the Early Years SENCo, which means that I am the coordinator for all issues concerning children with special educational needs. I liaise with outside agencies (such as Social Services and Health Workers) and am one of the School's Senior Managers. I am also a mentor for students from various colleges and am a mentor for Miss Cunningham during her initial year of teaching.

 

 

Mrs Sarah Proctor.

 I am a newly qualified teacher, specialising in Early years education. I have worked as a supply teacher for many Nurseries and Reception classes before I came to work full time to cover Mrs Wallace’s maternity leave. I am the key worker for green group and I work with all the children in the Nursery. I support the head of nursery and am responsible in her absence.

 

Our Nursery Nurses.

 Mrs. Maureen Bailey.I am an experienced Nursery Nurse and one of the keyworkers for the red group. I work with all the Nursery children three days a week. Mrs Read and I work closely together and share planning and record keeping for the red group.

 

 

 

 

 

Mrs Denise Read.

I am an experienced Nursery Nurse and am jointly responsible for red group. I work at least 2 days a week and work closely with Mrs Bailey to ensure continuity for the group. I am also chair of PALS (The Parents Association for Loatlands School) and a school governor. 

  

Our Learning Support Assistant. Mrs Corinne Hill.

I am a full time Learning Support Assistant and work with all the children every day. I have recently achieved my NVQ level 3.
