About LCP2

The London Communities Police Partnership (LCP2) is an independent body, working with the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA), Metropolitan Police Service and Community Police Engagement Groups (CPEGs) in the 32 London Boroughs.

Its mission is to promote and develop the best, most effective police/community engagement within the 32 boroughs, at the pan-London level and beyond.

LCP2 is a re-launched and revitalised pan-London body whose members are community groups in London involved in community/police engagement. Currently all members are borough-level CPEGs funded (at least in part) by the MPA.

LCP2 is funded by the MPA and employs three part-time staff; it is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from its member bodies. It is a company limited by guarantee (no.6521394) and a registered charity (no.1127009).
