Kirton in Bloom

Garden Competition

Feel Proud

The Town Council is working hard to make Kirton Lindsey a

more attractive town in which to live and work and to

encourage a sense of pride and environmental responsibility in

our community.

The town has entered the Yorkshire in Bloom Competition this

year and our chance of success will benefit greatly from the

contribution made by residents, local businesses and

community groups.

How you can Help

You too can contribute and take pride in helping to create an attractive town, whether you are a

householder, a local business or the member of a community Group.

RESIDENTS can join in simply through improving their gardens and house frontages and by

taking part in the Kirton in Bloom Garden Competition this summer.

LOCAL BUSINESSES can display hanging baskets and tubs outside their premises and enter

the business category of the competition.

SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS can assist by publicising the competition and by

helping with the planting of flower beds later this year.
