Deep Green Forest School
About us: "We enable children to enjoy the outdoors in a supportive environment whilst providing a unique, active learning experience. We offer regular sessions in local woods. Children are supported in their learning and encouraged to explore the outdoor environment and appreciate nature. The Forest School leader follows their interests and supplies suitable resources. Children develop confidence, emotional resilience, independence, language and communication skills, increased levels of physical activity and mental wellbeing - and have lots of fun! Typical activities include: mini beast hunts, building dens, exploring trees, making woodland mobiles, environmental art, muddy play and painting, using tools. We offer term time weekday sessions for Early Years and holiday time play sessions for Primary School children. Children attend for a morning or afternoon session over a period of time (usually 6 weeks) and are out in all weathers."
