행복한 학교 생활, 웃음 가득한 학생들Happy School life, Smiling Pupils

뜻하지 않게 수업시간이 오후로 바뀌어지는 일이 생겼지만 거의 대부분의 학부형이 아이들을 학교에 보내주고 있습니다. Although school opening hour was changed abruptly, almost all parents have willingly sent their children to the Kingston Korean School.

3주가 지나는 동안 매주 학생들의 숫자가 꾸준히 늘어나고 있는 추세입니다. The numbers of pupils tend to increase steadily during last three weeks.

무엇보다 국어, 수학, 사회 과목 뿐 아니라 체육, 음악, 미술과목의 균형있는 커리큘럼으로 인하여 학생들이 즐겁게 공부하고 있습니다. Importantly, pupils enjoy their school subjects such as PE, music, art as well as Korean, math, and geography.

남자 어린이들은 거의 매일 있는 체육시간에 쿰걸의 잔디구장에서 마음껏 공을 차고 태권도를 배우며, 여자 어린이들은 테니스와 배드민턴을 합니다. Boys play football on the Coomb Girls’ big grass in the PE period, while girls play tennis, badminton and Takwondo.

재미있는 한국의 동요와 가곡을 부르고, 미술 전문가로부터 데상 지도를 받았습니다. They learn amusing Korean songs from music teacher and the way to sketch from art experts.

4학년들은 너무도 축구를 좋아해서 수업을 마친 후 선생님과 함께 매주 축구 시합을 하고 있습니다. Year Four pupils love football so much that they engage football match every after school with their teacher.

어떤 아이들은 너무 한인학교가 재미 있어서 매일 갔으면 좋겠다고 말합니다. Some pupils even insist on going to Korean School every day.
