The Action magazine

  Dear Readers,

We wish you a very Happy Christmas and wonderful New Year.   May God bring you special blessing and happiness during 2010.

The work at KCAH is ever increasing and the staff are working very hard.   A few years ago we were seeing about 370 new clients per year and we now expect this to rise to 650 for the year ending 31st March 2010.   We continually pray for extra finances to increase the staff team but so far this has not happened.

The winter Night Shelter has now opened and there is an article in the magazine explaining how this works.    There is increasing pressure from boroughs in the centre of London for homeless people to move out from the centre of London.   In fact, the City of London is now an exclusion zone for people who have to sleep rough at night.    This brings more pressure upon Kingston.

One good bit of news is that Matt, our Operational Director, got married at the end of November and I am sure you will want to join us in wishing Matt and Natasha every happiness and God’s blessing for their future life together.

Thank you to the many many volunteers who are helping KCAH at the office and in the Night Shelter.   Thank you too for your very generous and much needed financial giving.   God be with you.
