Aims of the Project

1. To provide practical help& support regarding legal options on an individual basis, so that the victim can make informed decisions regarding their future in relation to Domestic Violence.
2. To signpost individuals to appropriate services & advice.
3. To provide ongoing support through Legal services.
4. To support the victim through working together with other agencies to prevent disputes &/or find alternative solutions.
5. To promote & raise awareness & understanding of the project amongst other agencies.
6. To promote & raise awareness of legal redress available to the individual.
7. To develop links between Community Group Providers & Legal Advice providers.
8. To impact on the low uptake of Legal advice by Black & Ethnic Minority women & those victims in rural areas.
